These are scrapbook pages I made last year for my daughter’s first birthday. I used the Confetti Simply Scrappin Kit, which is no longer available. Again, these pictures and memories are some of my favorites. I have to just smile when I look at them. Based on Layouts 8 and 8a (See Scrapbook Layouts).

Supplies: Cardstock: Confetti Simply Scrappin Kit, Purely Pomegranite, Taken with Teal, Summer Sun; Ink: White craft; Accessories: Sticky cuts letters, Dazzling Diamonds, Chipboard, Scallop circle punch, slit punch.
These pages were based on a variation of the pumpkin picking pages I made. I used the same Halloween DSP, and general layout (Layout 5 and 5a) for the one page. (See Scrapbook Layouts).
My favorite pages I’ve done so far. I just think my daughter is so cute here. It looks like she’s sniffing the pumpkins, tasting them, inspecting them, and then TADA! She finds the perfect pumpkin. It makes me smile everytime I see this picture. Uses Layout 5 and 5a. (See Scrapbook Layouts). I stamped the pumpkins on glossy white, colored them with markers, and cut them out. Same thing for the leaves.

Supplies: Cardstock: Chocolate chip, Creamy Caramel, Really Rust, Pumpkin Pie, More Mustard, Old Olive, Halloween DSP, Glossy White; Ink: Chocolate Chip, Markers–Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust, More Mustard, Old Olive; Stamps: Autumn Harvest, So Very, Classic Alphabet; Accessories: Scallop Punch, Circle Punch, dimensionals.
These were photos from my sister’s wedding last year. Her colors were brown and blue so that inspired my page. Originally, I wanted to incorporate the invitation somewhere, but it was too big. Instead, I used her Save the Date Card. Based on Layout 4 and 4a (see Scrapbook Layouts)
.

Supplies: Cardstock: chocolate chip, Green Tea DSP, Baja Breeze; Accessories: Vanilla 5/8″ grosgrain, Ice rhinestone circle brads, Marvy Giga scallop punch & mega circle.
This page inspired Layout 3 (see Scrapbook Layouts). I wanted a wintery theme without being holiday or snowy necessarily. This paper was left over from the retired Simply Scrappin Kit Celebrate (birthday theme) and I think the stripes remind me a little of winter.
Supplies: SU Simply Scrappin Kit DSP, Taken with Teal textured cardstock; Stamps: Tidy Alphabet; Accessories: Metal Rimmed Tags, Simply Scrappin Kit stickers
This page utilizes Layout 1 (see Scrapbook Layouts). I found these letter stickers or “thickers” at AC Moore. They inspired the colors for the page. An unexpected thing happened when trying to assemble the photos–I noticed that the ticket corner punch looks great when the squares touch like this. I’m so easily amazed!
Supplies: Cardstock: SU River Rock & Groovy Guava DSP, Groovy Guava, Close to Cocoa; Accessories: Ticket corner punch, Thickers foam stickers.

Continuing on the theme of toes, I came up with this page. It uses Layout 2 (see Scrapbook Layouts). I came across these Bazzil chipboard tags and since I LOVE the SU Top Note die, I couldn’t resist these! I covered it with Kiwi Kiss cardstock and sanded down the edges. The DSP, I think is from Georgia Peach, but it could be from Sweet Always–sorry my paper got mixed up and I can’t keep them straight anymore.
Supplies: Cardstock: Georgia Peach DSP, Sweet Always DSP, Kiwi Kiss; Accessories: Thickers foam stickers.
Please check out my scrapbook layouts–the link is on the top right hand side of the page next to the About Me tab.
I’ll be posting samples of the layouts here as well.
I’ve been doing a lot of updating in terms of getting my photos into scrapbooks. I’ve also redone some of my earlier work (ew, rugged) now that I have a little more experience
Look for my scrapbook layouts and samples coming soon. I’m working on the maps and taking pictures right now.

Owls were really popular recently, and some would argue they still are. Having seen so many owls from different stamp companies however, I’m afraid I’m kinda over it before I had a chance to actually jump on the bandwagon. The owl in Love Owl-ways from the new Mini Catalog is an exception for me though; He’s just too cute!

Bird Card (Right): Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Old Olive, Georgia Peach DSP, Whisper White; Ink: Basic Black, Watercolor Pencils; Accessories: So Saffron Twill Ribbon, Blender Pen
Two more…

Supplies used are same as owl card above except sentiment is from hostess level 1 set The Best is Yet to Be, layered on circle punches.

Here, I used Bella Rose DSP again, Riding Hood Red for the base and scallop circle. The pink “ric rac” is made with the scallop edge punch (you can find directions if you google it) and pink pirouette cardstock.
I usually don’t CASE other people’s work. I don’t even like to look at samples until I’ve had a chance to play with a stamp set myself first so that I’m not directly influenced by things I’ve seen. It takes some of the fun out of it for me if I’m just cranking out duplicates of someone else’s work. I enjoy the creativity process as much as the end result. Today, however, I happened upon this beautiful card by Jan Tink and I HAD to copy it! I quickly scanned her directions and ran upstairs to make one. Well, I didn’t follow all of her steps exactly but it came out pretty close, and beautiful nonetheless if I do say so myself.

She gives better directions but this is what I did:
Step 1: Stamped the tree in white craft on baja breeze 4″ x 5 1/4″ and embossed with clear ep. (I tried using versamark and clear ep like Jan suggested but it was too light, almost too light to see on mine. Maybe because I don’t have a brayer and skipped that step?)
Step 2: Punched out a mask with 1 3/8″ circle punch and placed it where I wanted the “moon” to be. Sponge Night of Navy all over the front of the card. Remove mask.
Step 3: Stamp snowflakes & bird in white craft and emboss with white ep.
Step 4: Stamp sentiment on whisper white in night of navy ink and swipe the edges in baja breeze ink. Add rhinestone brad and adhere to base with dimensionals.
Stamps: Season of Friendship, Hostess Set The Best is Yet to Be; Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Whisper White; Ink: Versamark, White Craft, Baja Breeze, Night of Navy; Accessories: Embossing powder, Rhinestone Brad.
