Naughty and Nice Christmas Card

I really like the Tags Til Christmas set, and adding the tags to a card is another great idea for them. Here, I stamped the tree from Season of Joy on Whisper White after coloring the stamp with Always Artichoke, Daffodil Delight, and Chocolate Chip Markers. With a fine tip glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds, I added some glitter to the swirls on the tree. That layer was then matted onto Chocolate Chip card stock and paper pierced around the edges with the paper piercer.

The card base is Real Red, layered with Whisper White and retired Holiday Lounge DSP.

As I mentioned before, the sentiment is from Tags Til Christmas. I colored in the stamp with Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler, and Always Artichoke Markers, stamping it twice. I punched one of them with the Curly Label Punch, and cut out the colored words from the other, attaching them to the Curly Label piece with stampin dimensionals.

Then, I just layered the Curly Label Punch onto a Chocolate Chip Modern Label Punch and Real Red Decorative Label Punch. Two green Circle Ice Rhinestone Brads finish off the tag.

Behind the tag, I added a piece of Chocolate Chip 5/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon, notching the ends with my Craft & Paper Scissors (aka My Ribbon Scissors).

Thoroughly Modern Felt Flowers {Birthday Card}

This is based on a sketch from May’s Issue of Stampin Success. Although I use Sweet Pea Stitched Felt on many of my projects, I still seem to have a lot left! Instead of holding on to it, I decided I will keep using it and when it’s gone, it’s gone.

I designed this birthday card for a family member. The patterned paper is from Thoroughly Modern DSP, and I know the patterns are a little bold, but because one is so neutral (Sahara Sand) I think it works. Separating the paper is Old Olive 5/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon.

The sentiment is from On Your Birthday colored direct to stamp with both Chocolate Chip and Rose Red Markers. I stamped it onto a square of Whisper White and paper pierced around the edges. That was then layered with a slightly larger square of Chocolate Chip card stock and attached to the base with Stampin Dimensionals.

The Sweet Pea Stitched Felt flowers, leaves, and circles were placed around the sentiment, adhered with Glue dots. Although it doesn’t have many layers, the use of the pattern, texture, and colors make the card pop.

Bitty Birthday Card

As part of the Sale-A-Bration promotion this year, certain stamp sets from the main catalog are available to choose from, free with $50 purchase. This set, Bitty Birthday is one of them.

This card is for a boy, so I tried to keep the colors boyish (always a challenge for me).  The card base is Old Olive, layered with Dusty Durango textured card stock and Welcome Neighbor DSP. I stamped the cake twice on Whisper White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the images with Copic Markers. Then, I cut one cake apart and popped it up on top of the bottom image using Stampin Dimensionals.

I added some Supernova Orange Fine Glitter to the candles using my MS fine tip glue pen. The image layer is paper pierced around the edges and matted on Dusty Durango with Stampin Dimensionals.

The greeting is from On Your Birthday, stamped in Basic Gray ink on whisper white. I punched it out with the Word Window Punch and layered it onto the Modern Label Punch using Dusty Durango.
