3D Pumpkin Punch Card

IMG_0805

Fall is my favorite time of year, one of the reasons being it’s Pumpkin Season!

The card I made above is based on this card made by Brandi Wiggins. I used her idea of making a 3D Pumpkin using the Scallop Oval Punch. The card base is Very Vanilla, layered with Autumn Vine DSP, one of which was cut using the Top Note Die. I made the pumpkin using Dusty Durango textured card stock punched with the Scallop Oval Punch, each one folded in half. The stem is made from Wild Wasabi Stitched Ribbon.

To finish the card, I stamped “happy” from Happy Everything in chocolate chip ink at the bottom. It would make a great Halloween card, Thanksgiving card, or even a fall Birthday card!

The Magic Pumpkin–2 Ways

Something about the glitter on this pumpkin just makes me smile. I think it makes the card. The image is from a clear stamp (which I swore I’d never buy again…but I had a gift certificate…and it was there…and I bought it). I stamped the pumpkin image onto Watercolor Paper with Brown Stazon ink. Then, I colored it using Aquapainter and different color inks. After coloring in the pumpkin, I added Dazzling Diamonds with my 2 Way Glue Pen. That is layered onto dusty durango card stock.

The card base is white card stock, layered with Autumn Vines DSP. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, stamped in dusty durango ink onto whisper white card stock that I tore and sponged the edges.

This card uses the same stamp but I changed up the colors a bit. Base is chocolate chip card stock, layered with Autumn Vines DSP, this time in a polka dot more mustard pattern.

The image layer was stamped on Whisper White card stock in Brown Stazon ink again, with just the flowers colored in More Mustard marker. I added Supernova Fine Cosmo Glitter in Orange to the pumpkin using the 2 Way Glue Pen. I then layered some dusty durango card stock, tied some Chocolate Chip Twill 1/4″ Ribbon and attached it to the base using dimensionals.

The sentiment is hand written in White Gel Pen on chocolate chip card stock I punched out using the Modern Label Punch.

Autumn Harvest Fall Cards

I don’t usually send Halloween or Thanksgiving cards, but I like the look of them, so I try to send them to people with fall birthdays, or as a seasonal Thank You.

The above card uses the Woodgrain BG stamp. I really don’t like using BG stamps because they’re so hard to ink up, but this was one of the exceptions because I like the image a lot!

Card base is Dusty Durango Textured card stock. I then stamped Woodgrain in Basic Brown ink onto Creamy Caramel card stock. The main image is from Autumn Harvest, stamped in Brown Stazon on Very Vanilla card stock. I used a mask to stamp the pumpkins and colored in the images with my Earth Elements Watercolor Crayons and Aquapainter. I layered the vanilla card stock onto Chocolate chip and tied a piece of Chocolate Chip Twill Ribbon around the front. The sentiment is from Chit Chat Rub Ons, applied onto Dusty Durango card stock, punched out with the Modern Label Punch, up on dimensionals.

This next card uses Autumn Harvest again, and of course my new favorite Woodgrain BG stamp!! Card base is Dusty Durango Textured card stock, layered with polka dotted More Mustard Autumn Vines DSP.

Across the bottom of the card, I took a strip of Creamy Caramel stamped with Woodgrain in Basic Brown ink and layered it onto a strip of Chocolate Chip card stock. That is acting as my “log” on which I placed my pumpkins.

Pumpkins from Autumn Harvest were stamped in Brown Stazon on Very Vanilla card stock, colored in with Earth Elements Watercolor Crayons and Aquapainter. Then, I cut out each image and attached it to the card using dimensionals.

The sentiment is a Chit Chat Rub On on Dust Durango card stock, punched out with Modern Label Punch and popped up with dimensionals. As an added touch, I “stitched” around the label with my White Gel Pen.

Inside both cards, I lined them with a piece of Very Vanilla card stock to make writing easier to read.
