Look what I made! Creations that look good enough to eat...and some actually are!
Here is another quick and easy card I made with My Digital Studio (MDS). The hexagon print is from Lemonade Stand Designer Kit. It comes exactly like this, with the colors shown. There is a recolor option, also, so you could make this any color you want.
The sentiment is from another download called All About Dad which is a cute “All About Dad” book.
For the card base, it’s a 5″x7″ card using Baja Breeze and Midnight Muse, layered with my printed Whisper White top.
This is a fast Father’s Day card I made using the My Digital Studio (MDS) download called Because I’m the Dad. Father’s Day is 2 days away, and this was perfect for creating a quick card for Dad. It can also be put into a 5×7″ frame and makes a cool subway art piece.
The image is 5″ x 7″ in size, so the card base is also 5×7, folded in half. I decided on Midnight Muse card stock for the base. The rest was just printed on Whisper White card stock and attached to the front. So easy!
Inside, I used a coordinating image, also from Because I’m the Dad, and printed it on Whisper White card stock. Card #1–DONE!
I made this card a while ago, while I was pregnant with my son, or very soon after he was born. I can’t remember July and August–it was all a blur. Two hours of sleep a night does that to your brain!
I can remember this: I used things from the new 2012-2013 Stampin UP catalog! The base is In Color Midnight Muse, a great navy blue and I’m not a navy blue person. To brighten things up, I used Pool Party card stock, another In Color, texturized with the Fancy Fan Letterpress plate. I inked up the plate with Versamark (you could also use Pool party ink) and then ran it through the Big Shot for some texture and pattern.
The stamp is from Special Delivery, a new hostess set. I inked up the boy silhouette with Midnight Muse ink and stamped it on Whisper White card stock. I layered it with Daffodil Delight and Pool Party circles.
Some of the other elements used on the card are Lattice Bigz Die, Summer Smooches DSP, Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon, Daffodil Delight Stitched 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon, and Whisper White 5/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon.
