Dasher Embossed-Movers & Shapers Window Card

The idea for this card came about from trying to glitter up the Dasher Reindeer stamp. My brown glitter wasn’t sticking permanently and I almost gave up completely when I decided to try iridescent ice embossing powder.

On whisper white card stock, I stamped the reindeer in chocolate chip craft ink, then heat embossed it  with iridescent ice. Then, using the stampamajig, I stamped the image again in chocolate chip craft ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, which gave it a little more shine. The whisper white card stock was then adhered to the inside of the card. Placement of the reindeer is important, so I made light pencil marks on my white card stock around the curly label window.

The card base is real red textured card stock, cut with the Movers and Shapers die in the Big Shot. I stamped the front randomly with the snowflake from Season of Friendship in real red ink. Along the side, I took some Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon and added a Felt Flurry and a Circle Rhinestone Brad, which I attached using the cropadile.

Below the curly label window, I stamped the greeting from Berry Christmas in real red ink on whisper white. I punched it out using the Word Window Punch and layered it on chocolate chip card stock I punched with the Modern Label Punch. That is attached to the card using dimensionals.

Copic Colored Snow Buddies Christmas Card

I recently jumped on the Copic Marker bandwagon–they make me look like a much better artist than I am! I’m still learning how to use them, and they truly are amazing. Just like watercoloring with Stampin Up Markers, they allow you to blend and shade your images.

This card was made using the ever famous Snow Buddies stamp set. I stamped them in Memento black ink (you have to use that ink with Copics) and colored them in with the copic markers.

The image is mounted on a piece of Real Red textured card stock. In the upper corner, I used the Word Window Punch and punched real red card stock, adhered them to the image layer, and added Circle Rhinestone Brads with the cropadile.

As for the card base, I used Old olive card stock cut to 4  1/4″ x 11″ with a top fold at 5 1/2″. I also added a layer of Holiday Bulk Buy DSP in a baja breeze snowflake pattern to pick up the blues in the snowmen image.

Clean and Simple Delightful Decorations Ornament Christmas Card

I made this card a couple of days ago but just got around to posting it today. This is a clean and simple (CAS) card, one layer only. I stamped the ornament from Delightful Decorations in Versamark ink, then applied Heat and Stick Powder and heat set it. Next, I sprinkled on Romantic Red Glitter and shook off the excess.

Above the ornament, I stamped the string from Berry Christmas in Platinum Shimmer Paint that I sponged onto the stamp. At the bottom of the card, I tied a piece of Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon, making a little loop on the front and attaching a Fire Rhinestone Circle Brad.

The card base is Gina K Luxury Base Weight White card stock.
