Jumping in a Leaf Pile Fall Scrapbook Pages

My husband took these pictures of Ella playing in the leaves last week and I had this leaf pile idea in mind ever since.

The base for both pages is 12×12 Naturals Ivory card stock. I matted the photos onto more mustard, dusty durango, and close to cocoa card stock.

The leaves are from Fall Flair (a retired hostess set), stamped in pumpkin pie, dusty durango, so saffron, creamy caramel, and close to cocoa ink.

I stamped the title in the same color inks mentioned above. The alphabet stamp I used here is called Pure and Simple lowercase (retired). I stamped the letters onto whisper white and layered it onto close to cocoa card stock. The title pieces are attached with dimensionals. I tied some Hemp Twine around some of the title pieces.

The cork letters are from my local craft store. I colored chipboard numbers with sponge daubers and creamy caramel, so saffron, and pumpkin pie ink to resemble the cork.

Updated My Digital Studio Halloween Scrapbook Pages

Halloween-001

I decided to add some more detail to these pages. You can see the original version here.

Halloween-002

Page 2 of the Halloween scrapbook layout. I used the Serif Alphabet stamp to spell out “happy halloween”, added the circles, and a few halloweeen stamp images from Eat, Drink, and be Scary. It’s easy to add things using My Digital Studio.

Instead of printing these as individual pages, I think I’m going to wait and scrap an entire year as a 12×12 book.

Page 1: This is before we went out trick or treating with Ella. The elephant costume was a leftover from last year. I took it out just for the heck of it and made my husband try it on. Then I couldn’t resist taking his picture. He didn’t find it as funny as I did. I’m still laughing…

Page 2: Scenes from trick or treating. The street we went to is known for its decorations and everyone goes all out. My nephew was a turtle–poor kid. At least he didn’t cry like mine did her first halloween. These pages were made with My Digital Studio using one of the photo layouts and then I added paper from Cast A Spell (one of the latest downloads available).

Page 3: More scenes from trick or treating. Ella got the concept pretty early on that she had to say “Trick or Treat”, then take a candy. “Thank You” was hit or miss, we had to remind her a few times. And after every house she left, she would say “Maybe we should just check out the next house”. I guess she was really excited and couldn’t wait to get some more candy!

Page 4: The story of Little Red Riding Hood. This page has a few pictures of her skipping along and I couldn’t resist putting part of the story in. She had her little basket and her costume apron said “I love Gramma”. It was all just too cute!
