Here Comes the Bride

A friend is getting married in June and I keep making wedding cards! I’ll have a hard time deciding which to give her when the time comes if I keep this up.

I’m on a brown and blue kick I guess. Now that my pack of Parisian Breeze textured DSP is open, I find I’m using it in everything. It’s ok, I want to use it up so I can buy new stuff!

The stamp set used here is For the Bride, which I loved when I first saw it in the catalog. Ironically, I am finding it hard to use for some reason! Even though I like it, whatever I make is just “meh” or so-so. I’ll keep trying because I love to emboss this dress!

I stamped the dress in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink on Whisper White card stock and poured clear embossing powder on it. Heat set and voila! I paper pierced the corner and swiped the edges of the card stock on Chocolate Chip classic Ink pad. The image is layered on a piece of polka dot Parisian Breeze DSP, and I tied a piece of gorgeous polka dot ribbon around the bottom. This is from the Ribbon Originals Valet collection.

Next, I attached the image layer to my card base, which is Baja Breeze with a layer of Parisian DSP. The sentiment is also from For the Bride. I stamped that with Chocolate Chip Classic ink on whisper white and paper pierced a line above the “Congratulations,” adhering it to the base with dimensionals.
