For the past few posts, I’ve tended to make multiple cards with the same stamp, changing up the colors or composition. I suppose if I’m going to pull out a stamp set, paper, inks, etc., I’d rather make a few different versions, and build up my card supply at the same time. Also, sometimes while I’m working on a card, a different idea will pop into my head and I want to try it before I forget. Tonight, I made 3 cards using the It’s A Stretch stamp set. The first is shown below:
For this card, I used Rose Red card stock as the base, layered with Welcome Neighbor DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, which means it was free! I stamped this cute little potted tree from It’s A Stretch in Mememto Tuxedo Black ink and colored in the image with Copic Markers. That was matted with Soft Suede card stock and I tied some Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon around the front.
Like a tag you’d find on a potted plant or tree, I added this tiny stamped “friend” tag using Tiny Tags and the Jewelry Tag Punch. I attached the tag to the tree using the Cropadile, added a tiny silver brad, and adhered the image layer to the base using Stampin Dimensionals.
I’ll post the rest of the cards tomorrow, so stay tuned!
