Spooky Tree
This is a Halloween card I made a few weeks ago when I was in my “glitter web” phase! The base is Basic Black card stock, layered with Halloween DSP (retired). I traced the spider web with my MS fine tip glue pen and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds over it. I love this look!
The tree is a rub on from Bright Delights Rub Ons. After I rubbed it onto the card, I traced over it with my White Gel Pen and then used my Pastel Chalks with the sponge applicator to rub a little Old Olive chalk onto it. It’s hard to see in the photo, but it gives it a subtle greenish glow.
Finally, I used the Modern Label Punch with Kiwi Kiss card stock and the Word Window Punch with the black DSP to create the sentiment, which I wrote with White Gel Pen. That is attached to the card using dimensionals.

Anyone remember this set?? A Little Birdie is a set I used to be in LOVE with! It was the precursor to all the bird and owl sets that have come to follow (like Cheep Talk, Good Friend, etc.).
This card is made from Melon Mambo textured card stock, cut to 6 1/2″ x 6 1/2″, folded in half. I layered the front with polka dot paper from Thoroughly Modern DSP. The birds are stamped in whisper white card stock in Brown Stazon ink, watercolored with close to cocoa ink and my Aquapainter. Then, I matted that layer onto soft suede card stock.
The sentiment is stamped on whisper white card stock, punched out with a 1″ Circle Punch layered on soft suede (1 3/8″ Circle Punch) and Melon Mambo (Scallop Circle Punch). All of that is attached with dimensionals.
I just love this card. I think it would make a great wedding card, but I left it general enough that it could have many more uses as well.
The base is Bermuda Bay textured card stock, cut to 6 1/2″ square, folded in half. The transparency layer is called “Sheer Delights” and has a beautiful dark brown flourish print. I adhered the transparency to the base using tiny glue dots strategically placed behind parts of the design so they wouldn’t show through.
Across the front of the card, I wrapped a piece of 5/8″ Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon. Then, I stamped “congratulations” from Congrats (SAB set) in Bermuda Bay ink on whisper white card stock, layered with chocolate chip. That is then attached to the card using dimenisonals.

You’ll have to excuse me; I’m on a major long card kick! This long notecard is in the retired color Cool Caribbean and measures 3 1/4″ x 6 1/2″.
I layered a piece of polka dotted DSP from Thoroughly Modern DSP along the front and positioned the card vertically with a top fold. Bermuda Bay goes pretty well with the Cool Caribbean so I stamped the giraffe from Wild About You in BB ink on whisper white, matted with BB textured card stock. The sentiment is stamped in soft suede ink.
At the top of the card, I punched two holes using the large hole punch on my cropadile. Then, I threaded in a piece of Polka Dot Bermuda Bay Grosgrain Ribbon and tied a knot.
This giraffe is one of my favorite stamp images ever. I used them for my sister’s baby shower so I think I’ll always have a soft spot for this little guy.
For this next card, I used the same Cool Caribbean long note and positioned it horizontally, with the fold on the left. The striped paper is also from Thoroughly Modern DSP.
I cut whisper white card stock into 2″ sqaures, stamped with images from Darling Dots (hostess set) that I colored in with my In Color Markers. Those are matted on soft suede 2 1/4″ squares.
In the center square, I stamped the “be happy” stamp once, then stamped it again on scrap paper and punched out the inner circle with my 3/4″ Circle Punch. That circle is adhered to the stamped image with a dimensional to pop it up.
