Stampin Up Funky Four Rainbow Catalog CASE

July 29th, 2010 - No Responses

There is a great card in the new catalog that I knew I wanted to copy right away. It’s very similar to this in terms of color scheme and the stamp set used–Funky Four.

The base is Crumb Cake, with the leaf stamped in the same color ink along the sides. Next, I stamped the leaf print using the stamp-a-majig on Whisper White card stock in the following four colors: Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery, and Marina Mist.  Underneath each leaf, I attached the corresponding color button from the Bold Brights Designer Buttons Collection using glue dots. Then, I stamped “happy birthday” from Curly Cue in Chocolate chip ink at the top.

I matted the Whisper white on Chocolate chip card stock, that was embossed with with the Swiss Dots embossing folder and the Big Shot.

And that’s it–a colorful, clean and simple card perfect for any occasion–just swap out the sentiment.

*If you would like more information on ordering this invitation, please use the Contact form and specify “Elegant Fall Wedding Invitation”. I am currently accepting orders on a first-come, first-served basis. I will update this post when I am fully booked for the Fall 2013 season. Thank you!*

This is the outside of a 5″ x 7″ finished size fall wedding invitation. The card stock used includes Very Vanilla, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, and Watercolor Paper. The image is from Branch Out and I also used the Very Vintage Wheel in the background. Across the front, I also added some 5/8″ Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon.

Inside, I printed the invitation on Very Vanilla card stock, layered with Chocolate Chip. The RSVP card is stamped with Branch Out again. On the inside, opposite the wording, is a pocket to tuck in the RSVP card.

Cheers! It’s a Party! {Summer Party Invitations}

I’m working on some summer themed party invitations using the Cheers to You stamp set. I like them all for different reasons but the last one is my favorite. This stamp set looks especially good embossed and colored in with Copics. Crystal Effects gives an added 3D effect that also makes the drinks stand out.
