Creative Cucina

This is a really versatile masculine card–Father’s Day, Birthday, etc. The stamp is called Sail Away from the latest Mini Catalog.

For the base, I used Pear Pizazz card stock. I stamped the sailboat on Watercolor Paper with Brown Stazon ink and then colored the image with Stampin UP Markers and blended them with an Aquapainter. That was layered on So Saffron card stock.

Across the card, I used Baja Breeze card stock embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and the Big Shot. On either side, I attached clear Bitty Buttons threaded with Linen Thread.

Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Vellum; Ink: Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Real Red Marker, Riding Hood Red Marker, Old Olive Marker, Certainly Celery Marker; Stamps: Flower Fancy, Messages for Mom; Tools & Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Crystal Effects, Rhinestones, 3/8″ Twill Tape.

I stamped the flowers from Flower Fancy with Chocolate Chip ink and colored them in with Real Red and Certainly Celery Marker. Then, taking a slightly darker color (Riding Hood Red and Old Olive), outlined the images and accented them with Crystal Effects.

The butterflies were made using Vellum card stock and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit in the Big Shot. I colored the rhinestones with red permanent marker (any kind will do). They are adhered to the card with mini glue dots.

Across the bottom, I added a strip of Chocolate Chip card stock punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. Then, I stamped onto the Twill Tape with Real Red ink and a sentiment from Messages for Mom.

This is a pocket fold wedding invitation sample with a fall theme. The folded size is 5″x7″. Outside, I made a belly band with Very Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon and Very Vanilla card stock layered with More Mustard. The stamped wording was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The leaves are from Season of Friendship.
