Valentine’s Day

I made some cards for giving. I love hearts, pink, and glitter so this was really fun for me!!

Card #1: A Happy Heart

Supplies: Cardstock: Textured Purely Pomegranate, Raspberry Tart DSP, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White; Stamps: A Happy Heart; Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Pink Pirouette; Accessories: Purely Pomegranate stitched ribbon, Slit punch (for scallops)


Card #2: Happy Everything

Supplies: Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Raspberry Tart DSP, Whisper White; Ink: Black; Stamps: Happy Everything; Accessories: Dimensionals, Scallop edge Punch, Flower brad. I cut out some of the flowers and popped them up with dimensionals on this card.

Card #3: Tic Tac Toe Hearts

Supplies: Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip,Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Textured Purely Pomegranate; Stamps: A Happy Heart, Polka dot & Paisley; Ink: Black, Purely Pomegranate, Pink Pirouette; Accessories: Buttons, Paper piercer, dimensionals.

Card #4: Tree of Love

Supplies: Cardstock: Textured PP, Raspberry Tart DSP, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White; Stamps: A Tree for All Seasons, A Happy Heart; Ink: Chocolate Chip, Purely Pomegranate; Accessories: Kiwi/Vanilla satin ribbon, Clear Raindrops, dimensionals, glue dots. Note: I stamped the heart from A Happy Heart in Pomegranate on pink cardstock. Then I cut out the circles and put them on the tree with glue dots. Next I put a small clear raindrop on each circle–they fit perfectly! To finish off the top layer, I also swiped the edges on the Pomegranate inkpad and then sponged some pink pirouette around the edges.

Card #5: Magnetic Hearts

Supplies: Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Purely Pomegranate Textured, Raspberry Tart DSP, Whisper White; Ink: Basic Gray, Watercolor Crayons; Stamps: Love Owl-ways; Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, 2-way Glue pen, Superfine Glitter, magnetic snaps.

Notecard Purse

This is a gift set I made to give away as a prize for my sister’s baby shower. I think it makes a great little gift as well! The template for the box can be found here.

I did have to increase the dimensions a little bit on this one because my notecards were a little bulky from all the ribbon I used. I didn’t follow the template directions exactly, but pretty close. You may want to play with your dimensions based on what you’re putting inside the purse. I am including 12 notecards with envelopes, which causes the box to bulge a little!

The ribbon around the outside is not necessary to keep the box closed, it’s more for decoration, but it does keep the handle secured nicely.

These are made from supplies I haven’t used since I ordered them so long ago. I’m trying to use up what I have before I order new stuff from the catalog. It’s hard but I’m trying!!

Supplies: Cardstock: Vanilla Confetti, Urban Garden DSP, Chocolate Chip, Scalloped Notecards (Kraft, Vanilla, Soft Sky)–retired; Accessories: Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Soft Sky double stitched ribbon (retired), glue dots, sticky tape, word window punch.    

No stamping or sentiments on these. People can use them how they see fit.

Swell News

I borrowed this set from my upline to make some baby cards for my cousin in-law (who just found out she is pregnant) and my sister (who has known she’s been pregnant for about 7 months now!) I love it and I’m now on a quest to find one–whether it be ebay or if someone wants to sell/trade. Anyone??

I made these cards using scraps I already had lying around. It’s part of my effort to use up some of the old stuff before I bring in the new. Taking inventory of my craft closet was quite an experience! Not only did I get a chance to get organized, but I know how much stuff I never got around to using!
