For this card, I used the Lovely Lines Rub Ons from Lovely Flowers Hostess Level 3 bundle. I applied the white rub on to the Lovely Flowers DSP and trimmed it out with my paper snips. The stem was done the same way, but I trimmed it out and flipped it over on the back side to show the Old Olive (this was a mistake that ended up working out for me). It’s adhered to the card using a double stack of dimensionals.
The card base is Crushed Curry, a nice saturated golden yellow color. Next, is a piece of Basic Black to allow the White striped layer to pop (from Taste of Textiles). Across the bottom, I have a strip of Basic Black card stock that I wrapped with 2 ribbons–the new Melon Mambo Polka Dot grosgrain and Old Olive 5/8″ grosgrain.
The sentiment is from Lovely Lines (part of the Hostess Bundle) which I colored with Melon Mambo Marker and Old Olive Marker. That was stamped onto Shimmery white card stock and punched out with the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch. Then, I stamped the flower image from Lovely Lines in Melon Mambo ink onto Melon Mambo card stock and punched it out with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. That was pierced with my paper piercer and then I used my White Gel Pen to create a faux stitched look. Paper piercing at the top corners finishes off the card.
