This is the outside of a 5″ x 7″ finished size fall wedding invitation. The card stock used includes Very Vanilla, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, and Watercolor Paper. The image is from Branch Out and I also used the Very Vintage Wheel in the background. Across the front, I also added some 5/8″ Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon.

Inside, I printed the invitation on Very Vanilla card stock, layered with Chocolate Chip. The RSVP card is stamped with Branch Out again. On the inside, opposite the wording, is a pocket to tuck in the RSVP card.

This would make a nice holiday card; the wintry scene is just so peaceful. I love Branch Out for fall/autumn applications but I wanted to try my hand at using it in a different way.
The card base is 4 1/4″ x 11″ baja breeze, layered with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ Night of Navy panel. On the front, I stamped a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of baja breeze card stock with the tree from Branch Out in Basic Gray ink. Then, using the “leaves” stamp from the set, and White Craft Ink, I added snow all over the tree and surrounding areas. The bird was stamped in real red ink. To give the snow some more sparkle, I sprinkled Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder on the wet craft ink and heat embossed it.
Along the bottom, I tore a strip of Whisper White card stock to create a snowy ground cover. Although not visible in the photo, I used my Glue Pad to add a thin layer of White Flock to the strip of Whisper White to give a fluffy snow effect.
Finally, I tied some Real Red 5/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon around the bottom and adhered the Night of Navy and Baja Breeze layers to the card base.

Here is another Save the Date card for a fall themed wedding. This is a 5″x7″ card, also known as an A7 card. The base is chocolate chip textured card stock, layered with a 4 3/4″x 6 3/4″ piece of dusty durango textured card stock.
Along the left side, I featured the wedding date. I punched out textured chocolate chip card stock using my Square Scallop Punch and printed the numbers on very vanilla card stock, trimmed to 1″ squares. They are adhered to the base with dimensionals.
The stamped image is from Branch Out. I stamped the tree in chocolate chip ink on very vanilla card stock. The leaves were stamped in various shades of ink, including So Saffron, pumpkin pie, dusty durango, and tangerine tango.
At the top, I stamped “Save the Date” from the Please Come stamp set. I inked up just the part I wanted in chocolate chip craft ink and then heat embossed it using clear embossing powder. At the lower left, I stamped the rest of the image, with date, event, location info in chocolate chip classic ink.
To finish off the card and tie it all together, I added 5/8″ Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon and knotted it in a nice flat knot. Sometimes I can tie these knots and sometimes, no matter what I do, they just will not turn out right. I guess I was having a good night!
I think this could easily be turned into an invitation by printing the very vanilla panel with all the wedding information and maybe changing the three numbers to monograms, like A & B for example.
