This is the outside of a 5″ x 7″ finished size fall wedding invitation. The card stock used includes Very Vanilla, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, and Watercolor Paper. The image is from Branch Out and I also used the Very Vintage Wheel in the background. Across the front, I also added some 5/8″ Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon.

Inside, I printed the invitation on Very Vanilla card stock, layered with Chocolate Chip. The RSVP card is stamped with Branch Out again. On the inside, opposite the wording, is a pocket to tuck in the RSVP card.

Here is another Save the Date card for a fall themed wedding. This is a 5″x7″ card, also known as an A7 card. The base is chocolate chip textured card stock, layered with a 4 3/4″x 6 3/4″ piece of dusty durango textured card stock.

Along the left side, I featured the wedding date. I punched out textured chocolate chip card stock using my Square Scallop Punch and printed the numbers on very vanilla card stock, trimmed to 1″ squares. They are adhered to the base with dimensionals.

The stamped image is from Branch Out. I stamped the tree in chocolate chip ink on very vanilla card stock. The leaves were stamped in various shades of ink, including So Saffron, pumpkin pie, dusty durango, and tangerine tango.

At the top, I stamped “Save the Date” from the Please Come stamp set. I inked up just the part I wanted in chocolate chip craft ink and then heat embossed it using clear embossing powder. At the lower left, I stamped the rest of the image, with date, event, location info in chocolate chip classic ink.

To finish off the card and tie it all together, I added 5/8″ Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon and knotted it in a nice flat knot. Sometimes I can tie these knots and sometimes, no matter what I do, they just will not turn out right. I guess I was having a good night!

I think this could easily be turned into an invitation by printing the very vanilla panel with all the wedding information and maybe changing the three numbers to monograms, like A & B for example.

My brother in law and his fiancee are getting married next year in October and I thought I might make a few samples of save the date cards and possible wedding invitations to give them ideas.

This is just a card front, more mustard base layered with chocolate chip textured card stock and very vanilla, which I stamped using the Jumbo Wheel Leaves Awash in Chocolate chip ink. Then, I colored in the leaves using my Earth Elements Watercolor Crayons and Aquapainter just to blend a bit.

On top, I stamped a piece of vellum with the “Save the Date” stamp from Please Come in chocolate chip craft ink and heat embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. Along the top and bottom border, I paper pierced the vellum and adhered it to the base with mini glue dots.

To finish the card, I tied some Hemp Twine around the top and added a Scallop Oval in Dusty Durango layered with a Very Vanilla Large Oval. I stamped “save the date” in dusty durango ink and sponged some creamy caramel ink over top.

It must be pretty obvious by now that I LOVE this tree from Season of Friendship. Instead of using the leaves that come with the set, I decided to try this large leaf image from Autumn Harvest and it worked pretty well.

The card base is Chocolate chip textured card stock, layered with DSP from Autumn Vines DSP. The image layer is Whisper White, with a chipboard frame underneath. I covered the chipboard with Pumpkin Pie craft ink and then heat embossed it using clear embossing powder.

I stamped the images in Basic Brown ink and watercolored the leaves with my Aquapainter and the following ink pads: Riding Hood Red, Pumpkin Pie, Creamy Caramel, and Kiwi Kiss.

With the cropadile, I punched a large hole in the chipboard and put in an eyelet from Hooray kit. Then I looped a piece of 5/8″ Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon through and tied it with Hemp Twine.

This is another card I made using my beloved Striped Kraft card stock. Instead of a winter scene, this one features a beautiful tree for fall. I’m going to a birthday party in a couple weeks for my dad’s friend, and although this breaks 2 major rule of Male Cards, I think I’m going to give it to him anyway. Rule #1 is NO Glitter for a man card and Rule #2 is NO Bows–Just ask my husband.

The card base is Baja Breeze, layered with chocolate chip textured card stock, which I scalloped the edges using the Scallop Edge Punch. The image layer is Striped Kraft, with the tree from Season of Friendship stamped in chocolate chip ink. The leaves are stamped in Palette Glue Pad and then sprinkled with Supernova Fine Cosmo Glitter in Orange and Green.

I tied some 5/8″ Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon in a knot around the Kraft layer and attached the whole thing with dimensionals. The sentiment is from Chit Chat Rub Ons.

October is our anniversary month. Next week we will celebrate 4 years of marriage. Since we had a fall wedding, I picked the stamp set Season of Friendship to make an anniversary card.

I made 2 versions–one for me (with lots of color and bling) and one for my husband (a little more plain).

The above card uses creamy caramel card stock for the base, layered with dusty durango textured card stock. As for the images, I stamped the tree in chocolate chip ink on whisper white card stock. The leaves are stamped in Dusty Durango, More Mustard, and Old Olive. After I finished stamping the leaves, I looked over and saw my Snow Buddies set on the desk and used the swirl image, stamped in creamy caramel ink, to create a fall breeze. Then, I stamped a few falling leaves in the “breeze”.

Across the bottom of the card, I looped a piece of 5/8″ Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon around the dusty durango/whisper white layer, tying the ends together with Hemp Twine.

The sentiment is my own, printed from my computer, on dusty durango textured card stock and punched out using the Scallop Oval Punch. I also stamped the outline from one of the Oval All stamps in dusty durango ink using the stampamajig to get it perfectly set. To finish off the oval, I punched 3 holes using the cropadile and used Circle Rhinestone Brads in the same colors as the leaves. That was then attached to the card base using dimensionals. Tip: I like to cut the ends of the brad tabs off by using my Craft and Rubber Scissors so they don’t stick out. Then, I put small glue dots over the backs to keep them from spinning.

This is the male version of the anniversary card! For this one, the base is mellow moss, layered with chocolate chip textured card stock and whisper white. I stamped the tree in chocolate chip ink again, and the leaves are all stamped in dusty durango. Everything else is the same except that I wrote the sentiment in chocolate chip marker and then punched it out. No brads, no bling, just the way he would like it :)
