I love the new color Pool Party! It’s my all time favorite color. Layered with chocolate chip and another pattern from Flirtatious Specialty DSP, it’s bright, summery and fun.
The sentiment is from Afterthoughts, a Hostess set, stamped in chocolate chip ink on Very Vanilla card stock. I punched out the circle with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. It’s hard to notice, but I stamped the small flower from Afterthoughts in So Saffron ink, stamping off first for a lighter effect. Around the edges, I sponged on some Pool Party ink using a sponge dauber.
The scallop circle is Melon Mambo textured card stock, punched with the 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle. I used the cropadile to punch the holes in each scallop (the larger hole punch). Two basic rhinestones and Chocolate Chip Scallop Dot Ribbon finish off the card in terms of accessories.
